In my early 20’s, I worked at a day spa because I wanted to get free massages. It turned out to be an ah-mazing job. Not only did I get promoted to a management position, but I spent 3.5 years absorbing information from the estheticians. I spoke with reps monthly, and had to get trained on all the new products. Basically I was obsessed with the skin and beauty industry. Because of the training I had there, I have learned how to take care of my skin, from the inside and out.

I want to show you my morning routine because flawless skin is a must, and who doesn’t want to show off their best self? For me, if my skin is clear, I’m a happy camper. Also, it’s a reflection of what is going on internally. Below is my daily morning beauty routine.

Basically: Wake up, oil pull, wash my face, put my serum on, seal with SPF.

1. Oil Pull

The first thing I do in the morning is oil pull- when I remember, which is almost everyday. This is a great way to cleanse, and detox the mouth and body! I take a small scoop of organic coconut oil, and swish it around my mouth for 10 minutes. I’m usually getting my breakfast ready, or getting my errands set up for the day while its pulling out the toxins. After, simple spit into the trash can, and rinse your mouth with water! It’s easy and will help repair your teeth.

2. Wash with a Vitamin C gel FaceWash + pop zits.

I use Avalon Organic Vitamin C Face Wash. It’s clean, clear, and cuts grease without my skin feeling tight or dry. And yes, I pop my zits. I don’t go digging, but if there is a whitehead, its adios amigo. TIP: Be gentle, and wrap fingers with kleenex or toilet paper. If it can’t pop from a little pressure, it’s not ready. If it’s not ready, you’ll damage your skin, and maybe even form a scab– which are harder to cover up.

3. Vitamin C serum.

Vitamin C should be your best friend. Eat it (pineapple), or let it soak into your skin. However you decide, just involve it in your life. Vitamin C is super anti-aging. I personally don’t mind a few wrinkles, but I don’t want to look like a used leather couch either, if you know what I mean. Don’t have any wrinkles yet? Just remember that preventing is easier than correcting.

4. Sunscreen.

I use Cooloa Sunscreen. This cucumber melon one feels and smells of heaven. Not only is it organic, but it won’t leave your face white. It blends so smooth, and it feels so velvety.


Basically: mix powdered greens with OJ, take 3 Gelatin capsules.

Vitamins + herbs feed and protect your body with nutrients, especially if you don’t get enough from your food.

1. Powdered Greens

There are a bunch of wheatgrass/spirulina combos. Wheatgrass is one, if not, THE best protectors of your body. Not only is packed with chlorophyll, but it also contains, every single mineral known to man. #impressive It neutralizes toxins, purifies the liver, reduces inflammation, helps prevent tooth decay, and like a million other things. It’s the ultimate multi-tasking reset button for health and beauty. I personally have increased energy and stamina throughout the day. It’s THE BOMB. I use this one and also another from Costco. Make sure it’s organic and non-gmo!

2. Gelatin

Oh gelatin, you have a very special place in my heart. — So we all know that our collagen decreases as we age. Our connective tissue gets weak, and hello wrinkles and saggy skin. The collagen molecule alone is too large to be absorbed into the skin, so you can forget those $500 creams. So what does this leave us with? Two options. Gelatin and Retinol (at night, more on this next week). Gelatin is legit made of collagen. Taking it orally will help those wrinkles, sagging skin, and even cellulite. When your connective tissue is weak, it doesn’t have a lot of collagen for support. It won’t solve all your cellulite problems, but it going to help a lot. Everything will have a glowing boost: skin, hair, and nails. A lot of models take this every day. It’s very affordable, and natural. This is the exact one I take.

      Hello, I am using wordpress. I recommend starting off with that for affordability. There is a bit to learn, but if you are interested and have the desire, it will be fun. If you want something a little easier, and a little more expensive. I recommend square space. I've never used anything for any website I have built for myself or for clients other than wordpress. It's flexible, and very customizable. Overall, it was pretty easy to learn. I hope this helps!

      Hello, that's super exciting! I recommend going with wordpress, getting a beautiful and paid theme, and customize it yourself. If you have the budget, then squarespace is great. I started with blogger and it was a waste of time.
